Carer helping elderly man out of car

Getting around

Part of staying independent means keeping active; especially if you’re losing confidence in your driving, or you no longer have your own car. We offer a wide range of services to keep you involved in the community, in any way you choose. You can mix these services together to create a care plan that meets your personal needs, or you can purchase any of them individually as a quick solution. It’s up to you.

Transport

Whether you want to get out and about to enjoy the community or you have appointments and commitments, we can help you get where you need to be. We can help with:

  • Transport to appointments.
  • Assistance with shopping, paying bills and running errands.
  • Assessment and advice about equipment to help you stay mobile in and outside the home, such as wheelchairs, mobility aids, and communication aids.
  • Transport individually, or as part of a group, to attend community events.

How to access services

If any of these services appeal to you—whether on their own or grouped together as a bundle to help you stay active and travelling as you need to—you have a range of options. The key point is that we’re here to help, in any way you need. If you need extra information or you’d like to talk things through, give us a call on 1300 478 776.

You may be able to access services through a Home Care Package, a government-subsidised funding package for home care.
