Understanding your support options
At Mercy Health Home Care, we provide you with everything you need to make informed and confident choices about your disability support services. Whatever your needs or goals, we put you in control of the support you receive, when you receive it, and who provides it — we encourage you to be involved in choosing the people in your support team. We’ll step you through what to do, where to go, what’s involved in the process, and answer all of your questions.
How can Mercy Health help?
We’re here to make your life easier. We can help you reach your goals and build on your strengths, capabilities and independence. We are an approved National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider and can assist you if you have state funding for disability services or have been injured in a road or workplace accident.
We can help you get out and about — whether it’s to an event in your local area, catching up with family or friends, or getting to and from your school or job. If you’re moving out of home for the first time, or, if you want a hand with running a house, family or job, we can help you develop life skills that will set you up for success.
We have experience assisting children and adults. If you manage your service planning and claiming via Myplace yourself, we are happy to work with you to ensure you have access to the information you require. If you’d prefer us to manage the claiming process for you, we can do that too. We understand our clients, so we offer you:
- choice and control over the support you receive
- tailored services suited to your lifestyle and goals
- flexibility to change services when needed
- a team that understands you and your needs
- a ‘can do’ attitude.
What disability support services are available?
We are an approved NDIS provider in Victoria and NSW.
Our disability services align with the NDIS support categories and we can assist with:
- life stage transition
- personal activities including high intensity and overnight support
- household tasks
- community participation
- travel and transport.
Through the above NDIS support categories, you can use funding to access our variety of services.
What costs are involved?
There are no additional costs if you have state or federal government funding for disability support services.
If you do not have approved funding or would like to purchase additional services, over and above what your government funding allows, please contact us or seek more information about your funding options.
