Home Care Services and the NDIS

Navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can be confusing — and particularly challenging for older clients. Find out how our community care workers can help.

For more information on the NDIS and for information on a client’s eligibility see ndis.gov,au.

Mercy Health Home Care Services a registered NDIS service provider whose staff are trained in disability support. If any of your clients have a disability, live in their own home and need a helping hand, we can provide kind, quality and professional support.

Whether they need assistance with everyday activities such as getting up and going to bed or widening their social circle by meeting new friends at a local community centre or sports club, we can help them.

Our services aim to provide companionship, boost confidence, wellness and independence.

Activities we can help make happen include organising transport and assistance with shopping and housework. Make the most of a long, spring evening by taking a trip to the movies, the footy, or an art or language class.

Our friendly and well-trained staff will make every effort to ensure your clients feel part of a community. As a registered NDIS service provider, we can assist people who live in residential aged care (who meet eligibility criteria) to live a more active and enriched life.
